Foster continues to support Football NSW Advanced Coach Education

‘C’ Licence candidates at Valentine Sports Park presented by Danny Abboud had a special presentation from Craig Foster who took the time to discuss all things football on Wednesday evening.

Foster, a former Socceroo, is SBS’s chief football analyst and coaches the National Training Centre Girls at the Football NSW Institute.

Foster talked through a range of subjects with the candidates including football analysis, session planning and the importance of coach education.

In discussions on working with his team and preparing for the weekend’s game, he stressed the importance of recognising football problems and creating session plans to correct and improve players technical and tactical abilities.

This struck a chord with the group as they worked through the processes of coaching and learning principles during the course.
