Vale – Willem(Wim) Nico Stoevelaar

Football in NSW lost one of its oldest ever coaches with Willem (Wim) Nico Stoevelaar sadly passing away at the age of 89.
A passionate and professional coach associated with Football in NSW in its early years, passed away in his sleep on the 27 May 2017.
He remained passionate about the world game until the very end.
Willem coached the NSW Under 16s coach from 1967 till 1969 before taking charge of Pan Hellenic or now known as Sydney Olympic’s third grade side from 1969 till 1970.
Football NSW would like to pass on its deepest condolences to the Stoevelaar family, may he rest in heavenly peace.
