Semi-Final fever has hit the inaugural Futsal Cup presented by Indoor 5’s with four huge matches in both the men and women categories set to take shape tonight and Wednesday, 6th of December at Valentine Sports Park with all roads leading to the Grand Final next Wednesday evening.

The Women’s match-ups will see two intriguing fixtures with Tuesday evening’s clash seeing SELECT Futsal Premier League outfit UTS Northside take on fellow competition side Mascot Vipers at 7pm.

Both sides have met twice already in 2017 with the first match ending in a thrilling 3-3 draw in the opening round while over the weekend it was the Vipers that took all the accolades winning 4-2.

The winner of this match will face either Boomerangs FS or Dural Warriors who face off in their Semi-Final battle on Wednesday at 7pm.

Currently unbeaten in the SELECT Futsal Premier League, the Warriors have won seven on the trot, making this a tough task for Boomerangs FS even though they currently sit in first spot in the SELECT Futsal Premier League 2 competition. Going in as the underdogs, the side from the Nation’s Capital will give it their all with the hope of getting to the big dance next Wednesday.

In the men’s category, the first Semi-Final on Tuesday will pit SELECT Futsal Premier League side Quake Futsal Club taking on SELECT Futsal Premier League 2 outfit Boomerangs FS at 8:30pm.

The boys from Quake will no doubt be riding on the favourites tag but the Boomerangs side will not be coming to Sydney on a holiday ensuring they will do what it takes to get to the Grand Final next week.

The winner will face either the Inner West Magic or Mountain Majik as the two SELECT Futsal Premier League teams clash on Wednesday night at 8:30pm.

Both teams have met twice this year with the Inner West Magic thumping the Mountain boys 8-1 in round 1 of the competition before a 1-1 draw that took place last weekend.

The Grand Final has been set for Wednesday 13th of December with the Women’s match kicking off at 7pm and the Men’s at 8:30pm that will round up what has been a fantastic inaugural Futsal Cup competition.
