School Sport Australia Nationals To Be Held at Valentine Sports Park

The 2022 School Sport Australia National Football Championships will be taking place at Valentine Sports Park from the 11th to the 16th of September. 

The Championships were originally set to be held in Sydney in 2020, then 2021, but the pandemic prevented teams from travelling from other states and within NSW.

The NSW All Schools Girls (18 years and under) squad, to compete at the National Championships, will be selected at the All Schools Tournament in June.

The Combined High Schools (CHS) Girls squads to compete at the All Schools Tournament will be selected at the NSWCHS State Championship in May.

The NSW All Schools Boys (16 years and under) squad will also be selected at the All Schools Tournament.

However, the NSWCHS Boys State Championship is for players up to 19 years of age.

Therefore, there being no NSWCHS State Championship for 16s Boys, the two 16s Boys CHS squads for the All Schools Tournament will be selected at a number of trials to be held on 2, 9 and 30 May.

Eligible players must nominate to attend those trials by completing and submitting the nomination form by Friday 29 April.
