Coaches Workshop to take shape at the Bathurst Cup
Football NSW will be running two coach development opportunities for coaches at the upcoming Bathurst Cup with CPD Points available.
Coaches Workshop
Football NSW will be hosting a Coaching Workshop on Player Development on Friday January 27th as part of the Bathurst Cup weekend.
Coaches who have Advanced Coaching Licences or Community Coaching Licences are invited to attend.
The workshop will be led by Football NSW Technical Director Warren Grieve, and supported by FNSW Regional Development Manager Andrew Fearnley
It will be held as below:
Charles Sturt University Gymnasium (and field)
Panorama Ave, Bathurst
6:00pm – 8:10pm
There will be both a lecture component and a practical component.
Coaches are asked to register for the Workshop Here
Coaches with an advanced coaching licence (C, B, A Licence) will be eligible for 10 CPD Points for attending. There is learning opportunities for community coaches also.
Talent ID Workshop
In addition, Football NSW will also be providing opportunity for Coaches to attain CPD Points by using the Football Australia Talent ID App.
This will also assist both Football NSW and Football Australia in Talent Identification.
Coaches are asked to attend a 9:00am – 9:20am Introduction Workshop on Saturday to understand how to analyse the players and use the App.
There will be an additional 9:30am Workshop for any Coaches involved in Under 16s.
After attending the short workshop, any Coaches who submit 10 Player Assessments will then be eligible for 5 CPD Points.
Coaches are asked to register for the Talent Identification Workshop by Friday January 27th at 9am using the below link so we can produce individual log-ins.
There will be focus on Under 14s, Under 15s and Under 16s with the Talent ID.
The overall assessments will then be shared with the participating coaches post the tournament.
