Football NSW is currently seeking expressions of interest to fill two (2) casual Non-Executive Directors roles for Australia’s largest state sporting/football organisation.
The successful candidates will contribute to Football NSW’s strategy and direction for the next generation of football participants.
The Board meets ten times per year at Football NSW’s head office in Glenwood in north-west Sydney.
In person attendance is expected at Board meetings.
Outside of Board meetings, there are several events and presentations that Directors are expected to attend.
A passion and connection with Football will be essential.
Across two casual vacancy positions, we are looking to advance the following Board skills:
- Legal / Regulatory / Governance
- Technology / Digital / Data / Innovation
- Government Relations / Lobbying
- Marketing / Branding / Communications
- Capital Raising / Funding
- Previous Board experience will be highly regarded.
You will be joining an experienced Board with members who have a passion for Football and are constantly striving to progress the organisation.

Directors are paid a small honorarium.
The terms of your appointment will expire at the AGM to be held in respect of the 2025/26 financial year and to be held by 31 March 2027.
