Last month Football NSW successfully delivered an Inclusive Coaching Workshop at Valentine Sports Park for coaches looking to further develop their knowledge in the inclusion space.

The workshop saw Special Olympics Education & Training Manager Leisl Stimpson deliver an education session on coaching all abilities football. The education piece had a great presentation and practical session that was highly engaging and informative for the coaches.

“It was great to connect with existing coaches of football4all programs, and also meet new coaches who want to learn more about delivering inclusive football programs in their community,” said Simpson.

“I believe these types of networking and sharing opportunities are a powerful way to help improve coaches knowledge which ultimately leads to growing the game of football and enabling everyone to participate, have fun and make new friends.”

Guest speakers from football4all programs also shared their knowledge and expertise.

Jenny Crandell from Castle Hill United FC All Abilities and Christine Rudge from NWSF PINK program delivered presentations and spoke to the success and learnings from their programs. This was a fantastic opportunity for existing and new football4all coaches to learn from the successes and challenges of other programs.
