“It was a disappointing result after where we were at half-time, leading and holding the control in the game. Mariners came out and took their chances in the second half and credit to them for that. It is a very dedicated group here at Inter Lions FC and they will be as disappointed as I am for that result.” said Di Biase.
For Central Coast Mariners FC coach Greg Hartge, he reflected on a better second half which saw them take the points:
“We weren’t disciplined in the first half and didn’t play to our strengths but we changed tactics in the second half and the result showed. It was good to bounce back and it has been a good start on the road early in the season.” said Hartge
