The staff at Football NSW held a special luncheon in honour of the well-liked and admired groundskeeper who always took pride in keeping everything in tip-top shape at Valentine Sports Park Complex.
Supported by his wife Xenia, Sandy was given a number of memorable gifts upon his outstanding services at Football NSW.
A 7-foot fishing rod, a fishing chair with his name printed on the back, a fishing bag, a special 18-year memorable plaque and a signed centenary Parramatta Eels jersey, which happens to be Sandy?s favourite team, were all presented to him during the special luncheon.
Football NSW CEO Michael Quarmby, Football NSW Executive Manager, Commercial Services Tony Peters and Valentine Sports Park Manager Duncan Sharpe all paid tribute to Sandy?s tremendous work ethic at Football NSW.
Sandy?s popular smile and presence will surely be missed at Football NSW.
Football NSW wishes him all the best for his retirement.
