Grade 13
Marconi Stallions are the competition frontrunners with a perfect record of achievement so far this season. They have scored a remarkable ninety-eight goal at an average of seven per match and they have conceded the miserly sum of four goals. They are six points clear at this stage and the wheels would have to fall off they wagon in a big way for them to fail to claim the Premiership.
West Sydney Berries suffered a loss on the opening day of the season and then they proceeded to win their next eleven matches before suffering a second loss to the Stallions to begin the second round. Since then they have posted a win and a loss so they will be keen to resume their winning ways. They are a bit better performed when playing away from home as they have collected 88% of the available points while their home games have yielded only 71% of the points.
Sydney Olympic have suffered only three loss so far but the three draws they recorded from their first four games have cost them six valuable points. They seem to have turned that around with wins from the three second round games they have played and they are continuing to apply pressure to the two teams ahead of them.
Manly United had a terrific start with wins from their first six matches and they subsequently posted five wins and a draw from their next eight games. They are marginally better performed in away games after taking 79% of the points while they have earned 72% of the points when playing at home.
Sutherland Sharks had a sluggish start to the season as they registered two draws and a loss from their first three games but they have found some winning form since them with eight victories from their last thirteen matches. They have taken only 42% of the available points at home while they have been a bit more successful when playing away with 67% of the points going their way.
Blacktown City have not been experiencing the best of seasons as they have only once been able to string together two successive victories. However, they have been doing well enough to consistently threaten to grab a place in the top five by the end of the competition. They have snatched 71% of the points from their home games and 38% of the away points.
Sydney United were a bit inconsistent over the first seven rounds with two wins. A draw and four losses to show for their efforts but they have picked up since then with four wins and two draws coming from their last seven matches. They have pocketed only 42% of the points available from their home games and 61% of the away points.
South Coast Wolves are the only other team with a realistic chance of competing in the play-offs but their form has been a bit patchy with six wins and three draws coming from the fourteen games they have played so far. They have earned 56% of the points when playing at home and 33% of the away points.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers have recorded only three wins so far and they would need to pull a giant rabbit out of a hat to make it to the finals series at this stage.
Project 22 are concentrating on developing the players while playing in this competition and it must be said that the girls have performed reasonably well in this very tough competition as they have two wins and three draws to show for their efforts.
Bankstown City would need to work a modern miracle to make it to the finals from here as they have only two wins and a draw to show for their fifteen matches.

Sydney Olympic are at the top of the table and they earned their points as a result of nine victories and three draws from the sixteen matches they have played.
