Final Round 7 Australia Cup Preliminary round spots up for grabs
As many as five matches are set to be played this week and next that will determine the final number of clubs set to progress to the 2024 Australia Cup Preliminary Round 7.
Tuesday evening (21st May) will see two matches featured as an all-National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW battle takes shape at Albert Butler Memorial Park with the Wollongong Wolves hosting current league leaders Rockdale Ilinden.
Eastern Suburbs Football Association All-Age Men’s outfit Coogee United face a tough task but have the opportunity to crack the headlines as they take on NPL Men’s NSW high-flyers Marconi Stallions at Hensley Athletic Field.
Wednesday (22nd May) will see Cup specialists APIA Leichhardt FC take on League One Men’s side Blacktown Spartans at Leichhardt Oval, while at Macedonia Park, Illawarra Premier League side Wollongong United will lock horns with Sydney United 58.
Tuesday 28th of May will see the final Round 6 match played with Sydney Olympic hosting the NWS Spirit FC at Belmore Sports Ground.
Three teams have already booked its round 7 tickets with Blacktown City FC, Inter Lions and proud Eastern Suburbs Football Association Irish club Phoenix FC winning its round 6 clashes.
A reminder that winners of Round 7 will book its spot in the official Round of 32 for the Australia Cup as well as a semi-final berth in the historic Waratah Cup.
