NSW Premier Youth League Round 1

IMG_0074

While every team wanted to get off to the best possible start, the results did not al go the way they may have anticipated. Nevertheless, this is a long season and the old saying, ?It doesn?t matter how you start, it?s how you finish? may be worth remembering this week.
Regular reader will know that I will not pay much attention to the competition tables until at least Round 5 when there is more likely to be an accurate reflection of how the teams are performing.
It is worth mentioning that there are twenty venues in operation each weekend throughout the season and while I can attend only one of these each week, I cannot possibly make it to every single one. Therefore, coaches, managers and conveners can help me by providing short (and hopefully unbiased) match reports, including the goal scorers (yours and theirs) in an email to barrydavis52@hotmail.com before 9.30am on Monday mornings or simply ring me on 0451 004 091 after 5.00pm on match days or any time on Sundays. I really do appreciate you assistance.
Now it is time to have a look at what happened over the weekend.
