Football NSW Position Available: Legal Counsel /Project Manager

As one of Australia?s leading sporting bodies we are seeking an innovative, passionate and highly motivated Legal Counsel /Project Manager who will provide day to day support to the CEO to ensure the successful delivery of Football NSW strategic plan, this would include the preparation and review of all legal documents, contracts and management of policies, procedures and probity issues.
The position will require a professional with strong leadership capabilities who can provide sound legal advice on all commercial and governance matters associated with the organisation and deliver end to end project management including forecasts and budget control.
This will be a challenging but rewarding role for a highly driven individual who can demonstrate a track record of successful achievements and display the following professional skills;
?    Proven qualifications and experience in the area of sports and commercial law
?    An understanding of board preparation and governance
?    Well-developed oral and written communication skills including high level report writing with a strong attention to detail
?    Ability to lead as a role model and mentor particularly in relation to project management and staff development
?    Proven ability to effectively plan and prioritise work and maximise the use of internal and external resources to achieve agreed results
?    Proven ability to develop, critically review and implement business improvements
?    Excellent interpersonal, networking and presentation skills
?    Knowledge and understanding of technological platforms and how they can be applied within the organisation 
?    A knowledge of the sporting landscape within Australia is desirable
