IGA National Premier Leagues NSW Mens 1 Premiers and inaugural NPL Champions Sydney United 58 FC will host the 2014 Friendship Cup at Sydney United Sports Centre against traditional rivals Melbourne Knights on Sunday 9th March.

Mark Rudan’s men have been busily prepping for what has been a tough preseason campaign and will have this match scheduled as ideal preparations for their assault on the 2014 Premiership and Championship.

The Knights will boost some familiar faces to Australian football on the day with their coaching staff in former stars Andrew Marth (head coach) and Frank Juric (assistant coach) taking their talented side to Sydney as they hope to go one better in 2014 after finishing second on the ladder in Victoria’s top tier competition.

The pre-game will see Sydney United 58 FC’s U20s side take on Wollongong Croatia at 12:45pm with the main match kicking off at 3pm.
