Haliti announced Mt Druitt Town Rangers Female Ambassador
Hyundai A-League star Labinot Haliti has been inducted as the new Mt Druitt Town Rangers ‘Female Ambassador’ for the ambitious Women’s State League club.
The former Western Sydney Wanderers and Newcastle Jets attacker has been active in the coaching scene with Mt Druitt Town Rangers approaching the 31-year-old to further boost their stocks in becoming a role model for the club as well as mentoring young players and providing football and life skill wisdom with guidance.
Haliti will look to develop and support the club’s strong culture for female football initiatives thanks to the increasing growth of women’s football across Australia.
He will look towards working closely with the Rangers’ Women’s Technical Director Danny Abboud and supporting the current coaching infrastructure.
“It’s exciting times at the club and to have someone of Labinot’s ilk really promotes the answer that Mt Druitt Town Rangers are wanting to boost the club’s female pathway.
“We cannot wait to work with Labinot and grasp his input and vast knowledge in assisting with our progress and development.”
The much-respected footballer will be a familiar face seen around Popondetta Park on match days but Haliti’s inclusion will certainly enhance the profile of the club’s programs.
