The Futsal Premier League 2 Open Women’s competition draws to a conclusion on Saturday with a thrilling Grand Final matchup. Premiers SD Raiders Futsal take on second place Sydney Futsal Club in Dural for the trophy.

SD Raiders Futsal vs Sydney Futsal Club, Saturday 21 December, 3pm, The Centre – Dural

The Open Women’s final sees SD Raiders Futsal face off against Sydney Futsal Club at The Centre – Dural on Saturday afternoon.

Premiers SD Raiders Futsal were comfortable 3-0 winners against APIA FC Futsal in their semi-final match up.

SD Raiders Futsal have swept all before them this season but their only loss this season came against Sydney Futsal Club.

Layne Knight scored in the result and has been a consistent goal scorer for SD Raiders Futsal this season.

Alongside her, Jessica Neville and Abigail Boag have found the back of the net regularly across the season.

Elana Topalidis has been superb between the sticks and will need another big performance on Saturday.

Sydney Futsal Club won 3-2 against Raiders Futsal Club in the other semi-final at Morris Iemma Indoor SC.

Golden Boot Cynthia Coghlan has scored 26 goals this season and she will hope to put a cherry on top with a win in this game.

While she wasn’t on the scoresheet, Abbey Harrison directed play well for Sydney Futsal and will play a major role again.

Both Mya Calil and Liana Calabro were on the scoresheet in the semi-final and they aim to double the dose.

They were the only side to beat SD Raiders Futsal this season, so Sydney Futsal Club will be confident headed into Saturday.

This game is first and second on the ladder battling it out to see who will be declared the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Women’s champion.
