Twelve Football NSW Grand Finalists at National Futsal Championships
Day 4 of the 2025 National Futsal Championships in Melbourne drew to an exhilarating close, with the quarter-finals and semi-finals delivering incredible drama and excitement.
After a full day of intense action across the pitches at the State Netball and Hockey Centre, all grand final matchups are now locked in, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion on Day 5.
Sunday’s action will crown the 2025 national champions with twelve Football NSW teams set to compete for a national title across eleven of the grand final clashes.
U12 Boys
Football NSW Lightning v Football Queensland Maroon
NSW Lightning triumphed 9-2 over Football Victoria in the Quarter-Finals and secured a 4-3 victory over Capital Football in the Semi-Final, with Jude Aouad impressing. Queensland Maroon beat NSW Thunder 3-2 in the Quarter-Finals and Football West 4-3 in the Semi-Final.
U13 Boys
Football Queensland v Football NSW Thunder
Queensland overcame South Australia 12-5 in the Quarter-Finals and Football Victoria Navy 9-4 in the Semi-Final, with Nathan Kirby, Charles Warr, and Kallum Chalker starring. NSW Thunder dominated Victoria White 10-0 and defeated NSW Lightning 6-0, with Tristian Guardiola Gomez and William Karatasos playing key roles.
U13 Girls
Football Queensland Maroon v Football NSW Thunder
Queensland Maroon won 2-1 against FQ White in the Quarter-Finals and 5-1 against Football West in the Semi-Final, led by Emiliana Armstrong. NSW Thunder cruised to an 8-0 victory over Capital Football and then defeated NSW Lightning 4-2, with Niki-Michelle Brown and Selena Misfud shining.
U14 Boys
Football NSW Thunder v Football West
NSW Thunder defeated NSW Lightning 7-0 in the Quarter-Finals and narrowly beat Football Queensland 2-1 in the Semi-Final. Football West triumphed 6-3 over Football South Australia in the Quarter-Finals, with Reed Thompson and Leandro Jesus both scoring two goals and then defeated Football Victoris 4-3 in the Semi’s.
U15 Boys
Football Queensland v Football NSW Metro
Queensland earned a 3-1 victory over Football West in the Semi-Final after a strong 12-5 win over South Australia in the Quarter-Finals. NSW Metro dominated NSW Country 7-1 in the Semi-Final, following a solid 4-2 win in the Quarter-Finals.
U15 Girls
Football NSW Lightning v Football Queensland
NSW Lightning triumphed 6-1 over Football Victoria White in the Quarter-Finals and edged past NSW Thunder 2-1 in the Semi-Final, with Tessa Young leading the charge. Queensland beat Northern NSW Football 6-2 in the Quarter-Finals and secured a 4-2 win over Capital Football in the Semi-Final.
U16 Boys
Football Queensland v Football NSW Thunder
Queensland triumphed 3-0 over South Australia in the Semi-Final after a strong 6-2 win in the Quarter-Finals. NSW Thunder defeated NSW Lightning in extra time in the Semi-Final to reach the Grand Final.
U17 Girls
Football NSW Thunder v Football NSW Lightning
NSW Thunder defeated NSW Storm 5-2 in the Semi-Final, with Halle Deane netting a hat trick. NSW Lightning beat Football Queensland 2-0 to secure their spot in the Grand Final.
Youth Men
Football NSW Thunder v Football Queensland White
NSW Thunder defeated NSW Lightning 9-3 in the Semi-Final after an impressive 17-0 win in the Quarter-Finals, with Jyden Harb scoring a hat trick. Football Queensland White overcame Football Victoria 9-6 and Football Queensland Maroon 4-2 to reach the Grand Final.

Football Victoria Tigers v Football West
Victoria Tigers secured a 4-3 win over Queensland in the Quarter-Finals and then triumphed 2-0 over Victoria Blue in the Semi-Final. Football West defeated Queensland 11-3 and beat NSW Thunder 4-2 in the Semi-Final, with Charlie Garnham scoring four goals.

Football NSW Thunder v Capital Football
NSW Thunder defeated Queensland 3-0 in the Quarter-Finals and edged past Victoria Navy 4-3 in the Semi-Final. Capital Football triumphed 6-0 over Northern NSW in the Quarter-Finals and overwhelmed Football West 10-0 in the Semi-Final, with Brittany Palombi scoring four goals.
