Centenary_Cup

This high profile tournament is conducted annually by Football NSW Community Football for Grade 12 teams from the Metropolitan Representative League, Country Association and Representative teams from Tuesday 15th April to Friday 18th April 2008 and is proudly hosted by the Woonona Soccer Club.
Twelve Metropolitan Representative League Association teams will be joined by Shoalhaven Association, Southern Branch and Western Branch for a week of competition, development, education and fun.
The fifteen teams will be split into three groups of five, with four games for each team on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday culminating in the Quarter-Finals on Thursday afternoon before the Semi-Finals and Final on Friday 18th April 2008.
Sydney FC players Jacob Timpano and Brendon Santalab will attend the tournament during the early rounds of the competition and Clint Bolton and Adam Casey will be on hand for the presentation of medals to the successful Final teams.
These players, of course, will be available to the players and supporters for professional advice and autographs during their stay at Woonona.
The Football NSW Coaching & Development/High Performance Unit senior coaches will also attend for the duration of the tournament and will oversee the standard of play and provide a full analysis and assessment of all players and teams for the coaches of these representative teams.
The match officials will once again be provided by the very proficient and popular Illawarra Referees Association whose young members always impress with their outstanding ability and understanding of the game at this elite level.
Full details of 2008 Centenary Cup including the Draw can be found on the Centenary Cup site on this website under the Competitions (Tournament) tabs.
