Football NSW to assist with SNAPPaRoos
Football NSW in conjunction with the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association will be conducting a coaching evening for a Grassroots certification and specialising in Working With Special Needs Players from the SNAPPaRoos program on Monday 18th of April at Ernie Smith Reserve.
In what will be an insightful evening for every participant involved, the SNAPPaRoos program will benefit from this special coaching course set to be delivered by Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez.
The SNAPPaRoos program provides opportunities specifically for children with special needs and adults with a disability as well as strategies to adapt for the needs of the participants.
The cost effective program in what is a welcoming and comfortable environment where there is no pressure to perform at or achieve expected “able – bodied norm” will also assist children with special needs and adults with a disability with an opportunity to integrate into mainstream society.
