Jim Fraser conducts debut Goalkeeper course at VSP
Mother’s Day proved to be a double event this year, as 30 enthusiastic candidates from around Sydney attended the first Football NSW Goalkeeper Community Course at Valentine Sports Park.
Newly appointed Football NSW Community Goalkeeping Educator, Jim Fraser, conducted the course.
Fraser a former Socceroos representative of the famous 1974 squad and Sydney FC coaching staff member was more than pleased with what his charges contributed to the course.
"They proved to be excellent during the course of the day and I am happy to see both senior coaches and a young female coaches all willing to make a difference at their clubs for their players", Fraser said.
"We aim to conduct more of these courses around Sydney throughout the year to continue on our success from our courses in Regional NSW.”
Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez praised the appointment of Fraser who has brought a wealth of experience with him at this level.
"It is indeed an honour to have a person such as Jim involved with Goalkeeper Coach Education setup as his history as a player and coach speaks for itself and we value his experience with Community coaches.”
