Football NSW hosts successful Association Education Workshop and Coach Education Tutor Event
Football NSW recently hosted its fourth and final Association Education Workshop to each Metropolitan Association as well as a Coach Education Tutor event in what was an insightful and informative Tuesday evening held at Valentine Sports Park.
Association representatives from Manly Warringah Football Association , Sutherland Shire Football Association, Eastern Suburbs Football Association, Football South Coast, Football Canterbury, Hills Football, Southern Districts Soccer Football Association, Central Coast Football, Blacktown and District Soccer Football Association, Football St George and Northern Suburbs Football Association were each treated to insights for grassroots football development with presentations from this weekend’s Coaching Conference international guests Skye Eddy, Gabriel Bussinger and Peter Sturgess.
“This Workshop was a fantastic learning experience for our grassroots football association technical staff providing them with some insights into global best practice which further aligns with the work Football NSW and our member associations are aiming to achieve every season which is to ensure all of our participants young and old have the best,” said Football NSW’s Coach Development Manager Christoper Adams.
“This experience will no doubt inspire a lifelong love of the game.”
The Coach Education Tutor event also proved a huge hit as 16 tutors from across all courses within NSW attended.
This CPD event was presented to Football NSW Coach Education Tutors who deliver MiniRoos courses through to the ‘B’ Diploma courses and was delivered by English Football Association’s Peter Sturgess.
“This workshop was a great experience for our tutor team to ensure that we are providing the best possible experience on our courses and CPD events to certify our coaches leave informed and educated but most importantly inspired,” ended Adams.
