Football NSW recently concluded its first ever Female ‘B’ Diploma as 22 promising coaches went through their paces upskilling themselves for the 2025 season.

Funded by the NSW Football Legacy fund thanks to the NSW Government, the Course was a first of its kind within Football NSW, allowing coaches to take the next step in their development in a supportive environment as well as reflecting the organisation’s goal to further invest in women across all sectors of the game.

“These coaches’ dedication, passion, and strength are shaping the future for so many young girls,” said Football NSW’s Coach Development – Elite Football Development & Education Manager Christopher Adams.

“They aren’t just teaching skills, they are building confidence, resilience, and leadership that will empower the next generation of female leaders.

“Another pleasing feature of the course was having some guest sessions for the group from previous Legacy scholarship holders such as Bronwyn Kiceec providing insights into being a Female Coach Educator and Emily Husband from the Central Coast Mariners applying her knowledge towards the group which shows some of the success stories of this legacy program.”
