There were five candidates who were running for the two vacant positions in what is now a six member board which was reduced from the previous eight.

For only the second time after Unification, a motion was passed to detail the amounts of votes amassed by the nominees in contention.
Ku-Ring-Gai & District Football Association President Michael Webber and former Football NSW CEO Robert Waddell were elected onto the board of Football NSW.
Both nominees received the majority of votes ahead of outgoing Football NSW Board Members Howard Bradley, Frank Wilson and Ross Kelly.
Former Football NSW board member Rob Laws decided not to run for the vacant position.
Rob was influential in the promotion and development of women?s football in this state and was also given the Charles Valentine Medal in 2007.
Howard was a board member since the inception of the unified organisation and has been a hardworking advocate for the clubs and the associations.
Frank was also a board member since the inception of the unified organisation in 2002 and has been influential in all State Representative football.
Finally Ross; a former NSW Soccer Federation Vice President, has been an enthusiastic contributer for the clubs and associations, devoting countless hours of his time in improving the game across the state.
We thank all four departing Football NSW Board Members for their contributions to the organisation and the game and welcome Michael and Robert onto the board of Football NSW.
