2026-2027 Certificates of Currency
FNSW is in the process of renewing the FNSW Insurance Program for 2026-2027. The new CoCs will be available once insurance renewals and policies have been finalised. A notification will be posted on this page and sent to all clubs and associations when they are available.
CoCs required for Active Kids Accounts
The notice that clubs receive from Service NSW advising that CoCs are due to expire and need updating for Active Kids accounts is an automated notification. CoCs can be provided to Service NSW once they become available.
FNSW Certificates of Currency
The Football NSW Public Liability Certificate of Currency (CoC) can be used by FNSW affiliated entities covered by the FNSW Insurance Program as proof of public liability insurance.
A FNSW CoC is only to be used for the hire of a venue, ground or facility for the following:
- FNSW NPL, WNPL & State Leagues competition club – trials, training and games
- FNSW Association Winter Football competitions and affiliated club – trials, training and games
- FNSW Summer Football competitions – trials, training and games
- FNSW Futsal competitions – trials, training and games
- FNSW Futsal Centres – trials, training and games
- FNSW Referee Branches – referee education, development, training and branch activities.
- Other activities associated with FNSW affiliated entities for the purpose of the entity’s operations including, meetings, canteen operations, education courses, maintenance, working bees and ancillary activities.
- Official coaching and education courses, and any events or activations conducted or sanctioned by FNSW.
- Other tournaments, events, development programs, holiday clinics and activities conducted by affiliated entities sanctioned by FNSW.
- Official Presentations (excluding jumping castles, inflatables, amusement rides, third-party entertainment – Refer to Sanctioning information below)
Sanctioning of Events and Activities by Football NSW
If planning to conduct a tournament, event or other activity refer to FNSW Sanction information to check if it is already sanctioned or a Sanctioning Application is required, or whether the activity is high risk or not permitted.
Any presentation or event which involves jumping castles, inflatables, amusement rides, third-party entertainment, activities or any other activities involving risk requires FNSW Sanctioning.

To download a Certificate of Currency:
- Select FNSW Certificates of Currency
- Click on ‘Select Association’ and select either – Association, FNSW NPL and State League Clubs, FNSW Regional Branches, Futsal State League Clubs, Futsal Centres or Referee Association.
- Click on ‘Select Club’ and select the name of your organisation.
- Select the ‘Download’ button, and the CoC will download as a PDF.
