Certificates of Currency

The Football NSW Public Liability Certificate of Currency (CoC) can be used by FNSW affiliated entities covered by the FNSW Insurance Program as proof of public liability insurance.

A FNSW CoC is only to be used for the hire of a venue, ground or facility for the following:

  • FNSW NPL, WNPL & State Leagues competition club – trials, training and games
  • FNSW Association Winter Football competitions and affiliated club – trials, training and games
  • FNSW Summer Football competitions – trials, training and games
  • FNSW Futsal competitions – trials, training and games
  • FNSW Futsal Centres – trials, training and games
  • FNSW Referee Branches – referee education, development, training and branch activities.
  • Other activities associated with the above for the purpose of the relevant entity’s operations including, meetings, canteen operations, education courses, maintenance, working bees and ancillary activities.
  • Official coaching and education courses, and any events or activations conducted by FNSW.
  • Other tournaments, events, development programs, holiday clinics and activities conducted by affiliated entities which have been sanctioned by FNSW.
  • Presentations and end of year activities – with the exception of any activity which involves inflatables, amusement rides, third-party entertainment, activities which require FNSW sanctioning or which are deemed high risk or which are not permitted.  Please refer to Sanction Information below

If planning to conduct other events or activities, refer to FNSW Sanction information to check if the activity is already sanctioned, or whether a Sanctioning Application is required.

To download a Certificate of Currency:

  1. Select FNSW Certificates of Currency
  2. Click on ‘Select Association’ and select either – Association, FNSW NPL and State League Clubs, FNSW Regional Branches, Futsal State League Clubs, Futsal Centres or Referee Association.
  3. Click on ‘Select Club’ and select the name of your organisation.
  4. Select the ‘Download’ button, and the CoC will download as a PDF.
