First it was Kangaroos at the State Titles now it is Koalas at the Cheryl Salisbury Cup

Also in Group A, Southern Branch have gained maximum points with their two wins over Penrith Nepean United and Illawarra Stingrays to join the Koalas at the top of the Group A table.

Whilst in Group B the Central Coast Lightning have achieved maximum points after two great wins over Western Branch and Macarthur Rams, while the surprise of the tournament so far is the Southern Districts Association representative team, with no less than eleven local grass roots club players in their squad. This team have also had two big wins over Sutherland Sharks and Western Branch.

The first day was played in glorious sunshine with a large crowd all day and the rest of the week is promising football to match the weather with all teams displaying an extremely high quality of technique and style.
Another first was achieved today with all matches controlled by female match officials and what a terrific job they all did.
