St Albans Strikers Player Tomislav Grgic speaks to the hummel F-League


F-League: Tomislav can you tell us about yourself and how you have got involved in Futsal?
TG: I?m 36 years old, I have been playing soccer since I can remember. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as travelling. A friend of mine invited me to an indoor game, and since then I have been playing indoor.
F-League: How did you enjoy playing the inaugural hummel F-League?
TG: This was a great experience for me to be playing with some of the top futsal players, and I enjoyed every moment of it.
F-League: What are you most looking forward to in the 2012 hummel F-League?
TG: I am looking forward to meeting new players as well as winning the league.
F-League: How do you see Futsal currently in Australian, do you think the hummel F-League will help lift the profile of the game in this country?
TG: It?s a big step to compete with outdoor soccer but it?s definitely getting bigger, and more people are getting involved in futsal and F League will definitely lift the awareness of futsal in this country.
F-League: How do you think the Strikers will fair in the 2012 hummel F-League?
TG: As a team we have become a lot stronger and more united, considering that we had a lot of injuries last year, and with this team we could definitely make another final.
F-League: What?s your most memorable moment on a Futsal court?
TG: The most memorable would be winning the first MFL couple of years ago.
F-League: Who is a team mate that the fans of the F-League should keep an eye on?
TG: Definitely Ivan Zilic, the man who introduced me to futsal.
