The 2012 EA SPORTS Champion of Champions kicks off with the first round on September 16 and involves 320 teams and over 6,500 players. The tournament was first run in 1972 and is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the footballing calendar, pitting champions from each association against each other as they play for the right to be known as the 2012 EA SPORTS Champion of Champions.
The 2012 EA SPORTS Champion of Champions runs for six weeks, with the grand finals taking place at Valentine Sports Park on October 20 and 21.
In conjunction with the tournament, EA SPORTS will be showcasing the upcoming FIFA 13. Players and fans will be given a taste of FIFA 13 at the semi-finals on October 13 and 14 and at the grand finals on October 20 and 21.
FIFA 13 is released across Australia on September 27.
