2015 Competitions

Football NSW is committed to the continued improvement of competition management, establishing best practice platforms from which the Clubs can operate their business of providing development and performance opportunities for the State’s talented players.

Participation in Football NSW competitions is contingent upon Clubs continued commitment to the National and State football framework.

We remind all successful applicants of their responsibility to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Participation Agreement, FFA and FNSW rules and regulations whilst participating in our competitions and programs. For clarity, 100% compliance to the Participating Agreement is a precursor to entry into the Football NSW Competitions, FFA Cup and PS4 National Premier Leagues Finals Series.

We also take this opportunity to remind Clubs of their responsibility to meet the commercial obligations of participation in Football NSW competitions. Any financial default will be addressed in accordance with the Football NSW By-Laws, resulting in loss of competitions points in addition to any fine or other sanction applied.

FNSW retains the right to cancel an applicant’s licence to participate in our competitions or programs if it considers that an applicant has failed to comply with its responsibilities.

We extend our thanks to the Clubs for their efforts in embracing the National and State objectives, and look forward to working together to see our common goals achieved in 2015 and beyond.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the important role Football Clubs, Associations and Regional Branches play in providing development opportunities for the State’s talented players. There is a great deal of work undertaken to document and provide these opportunities, for which Football NSW is extremely grateful.
