NSW Country Crowned Under 15 National Champions

It was all smiles at Coffs Harbour as Matt Shepherd’s NSW Country Under 15 Girls were crowned National Champions while a number of individual awards were given to NSW Metro and Country Girls in the week long tournament.

Shepherd, assisted by Nick D’Amore and Tiana Gauci had his Girls charging from the get go as they defeated Football West 2-0 on Friday with goals to Beth Bernards and Madalyn Moffat that all but assured the Championship would head to NSW Country.

NSW Country’s Under 13 year old keeper Lily Ryan won the Goalkeeper of the Championships, while NSW Metro’s Tori Tumeth claimed the Player of the Tournament in the Under 15 category.
