FNSW bid Westfield Matildas farewell
The Westfield Matildas completed their vigorous pre-tournament training schedule at Football NSW’s Valentine Sports Park in the lead up to the 2016 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Japan on Friday.
Alen Stajic’s side put his chargers through a number of stern tests with a number of gruelling skills and drills as well as a handful of friendly hit-outs after selecting his 20 squad members who depart Sydney on Monday 22nd of February bound for Tokyo.
Football NSW staff members were on hand to wish Stajic, his coaching staff and the Matildas all the best as they battle against the likes of Japan, DPR Korea, China P.R., Korea Republic and Vietnam with the top two nations at the end of the round robin format booking a place at Rio.
All matches will be showcased LIVE on 7mate starting on February 29.
