Hills United FC saw out the rest of the time to become League One Women’s Premiers and see everyone celebrate the side’s first title.

Post match, an overwhelmed Hills United FC coach Alan Tasses reflected on the achievement for the club:

“That is the most chaotic thirty minutes I have experienced. It was 14 years of trying to get us to this position in 30 minutes and the final 10 minutes almost killed me. The girls, the club has been outstanding, they have never wavered in their support. I want to thank Tristan and the club for that and this is a massive achievement for us.” said Tasses.

For Central Coast Mariners FC coach Greg Hartge, He reflected on a rollercoaster game packed into 30 minutes:

“We had a plan to score nice and early. We got the goal and I predicted the scoreline unfortunately for the wrong side. I told the girls that it remains in our hands and we move onto Marconi on Sunday.” said Hartge.
