Hills United FC winger Bianca Galayini will look to round off a historic season with a League One Women’s Championship title this Sunday night at Valentine Sports Park.

Galayini was the first women’s player at Hills United FC to play 100 games for the club it underlines her dedication.

Speaking to FootballNSW this week, Galayini reflected on the achievement and the amazing season thus far.

“Being the first 100 game player means a lot to me. I have always been a dedicated player, playing through injuries and always wanted to be available.” said Galayini.

“This has been the most enjoyable season for me thus far. It hasn’t just been the results, the vibe around the whole squad is good.”

The vibes have been high for Hills United FC who secured the First Grade Premiership, Club Championship and look to complete the treble.

Galayini has been a huge part of Hills United FC history and seen the growth of the team since their inception.

“We have always challenged for silverware but this year, we’ve matured as a side and relied on the strengths of each person to go the extra step.”

“Despite copping some injuries to key players, we have kept going and not fallen apart like previous years.”

A key to that mentality is coach Alan Tasses, who has seen Galayini go from bench to starting every week.

“[Alan] is like a second dad to me at this point. We can be frank with each other because of our passion and he has helped me tweak things to move from a substitute to a starter every week.”

“His passion sets him apart and he is always approachable to the girls because he cares for them and the club.”

It isn’t just Tasses who is like family for Galayini. The rest of her family help out across the club including mother Leanne Galayini who manages the First Grade side.

“I love that I can share these moments with them especially with my mother and it makes it feel so special.”

Looking towards Sunday, Galayini and the Hills United FC side face a SD Raiders FC side who are the one fly in their ointment.

“This is going to be a mental game for us, we need to stick together and remain on our gameplan unlike our last meeting in Round 18.

“We’re going to have so much support on Sunday and they will lift us like they did in previous important games.”

Hills United FC look to finish the 2025 season completing the treble and Galayini hopes to win it for both Tasses and the club.

“I’ve been through a lot of Grand Finals with [Alan] Tasses and we want to be greedy and get one more to put a stamp on the season.”

The FNSW League One Women’s Grand Final will be streamed LIVE on the FNSW YouTube channel Sunday night, 6:15pm with the commentary team of Eric Subijano and David Feeney.
