Club Capability Building Workshop Kicks Off the 2026 Season
The Football NSW Club Technical Development Team delivered the first Club Capability Building Workshop of the new season on 1 December 2025.
The session opened with a presentation on compliance clarity from Stephen Bott and Will Tan, setting the tone for a day focused on shared learning and practical development.
Attendees then split into two breakout workshops. Joe Fox led an engaging session on Coaching Methodology and Coach Development Planning, while Stephen Bott facilitated Designing a Powerful Annual Planning Framework for Youth Football.

Feedback from Heads of Programs and Technical Directors in the coaching workshop was overwhelmingly positive, with participants appreciating the chance to share ideas, collaborate, and explore new approaches to coach education and the evolving Head of Programs role.
The annual planning group also reported strong engagement, noting the value of discussing real examples, promoting effective practice, and deepening collective understanding of best-practice planning frameworks.
