Futsal State Team Player EOI – Metro

Trials details are listed below for the Football NSW Metro Futsal State teams that will compete at the 2025 Football Australia National Futsal Championships. The tournament will be hosted by Football Victoria in Melbourne from the 8th to the 12th January 2024 (Wednesday – Sunday).

Trial Eligibility

To be eligible to trial for Futsal State teams we will need all players to complete the following EOI FORM: Futsal State Team Player Information Form

• 10th October 2024 – Closing date for Applications for players

You must read, understand, and agree to the following:

• Be available to attend ALL training sessions if selected into the final squad.
  • Be registered to a FNSW futsal player or register to one of our Futsal clubs in the Futsal Premier Leagues
  • Accept a position in the final squad if selected
  • Be available to attend and play ALL matches in the tournament
  • Trial for the correct age group at the times allocated
  • Reside within the Football NSW region
  • Make full payment of the player registration fee, once selected, by the stated due date
  • Players currently suspended or subject to an interim suspension order or disciplinary action are not eligible to trial.

Age Categories – for players are sorted into year born:

• Team – Year Born
• 12s Boys – For Players born on or after 1 January 2012
• 13s Boys – For Players born on or after 1 January 2011
• 14s Boys – For Players born on or after 1 January 2010
• 15s Boys – For Players born on or after 1 January 2009
• 16s Boys – For Players born on or after 1 January 2008
• 19s Men – For Players born on or after 1 January 2005
• Men’s – For Players born on or after 1 January 2004
• AWD – No Age Qualification.
• 13s Girls – For Players born on or after 1 January 2011
• 15s Girls – For Players born on or after 1 January 2009
• 17s Girls – For Players born on or after 1 January 2007
• 19s Womens – For Players born on or after 1 January 2005
• Women’s – For Players born on or after 1 January 2004

Training Schedule

• Post trials FNSW will be releasing the Futsal state team training schedule, which will consist of 2 Sunday sessions prior to Christmas (TBC) & a 4 day training camp from 3^rd January – 6^th January 2025 (training times – TBC).
• More information around venues and timings for sessions will follow after the final squads have been selected
