AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Community Engagement

Community Engagement

In 2026, Australia will host the AFC Women’s Asian Cup, creating another incredible opportunity for women’s football to continue its growth following the success of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. This landmark tournament provides clubs and associations with a unique chance to celebrate women’s football and engage their local communities.

The objective of club and association engagement during the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 is to build excitement around the tournament, increase the visibility of women and girls’ football, and create inclusive experiences that connect the global game to the grassroots level.

Throughout the tournament period, Football NSW and our Associations and Clubs are encouraged to deliver Women’s Asian Cup–themed activities, including:

  • Watch Parties
  • Gala Days
  • Come and Try Sessions

Event Submission

To celebrate the tournament, Associations and Clubs are invited to register their events.

By registering your event, Football NSW can help promote your activity and provide support where possible. Women’s Asian Cup giveaway packs are also available to Associations and Clubs that register their event, helping to further enhance your celebrations.
