Four Manly United players will return to Cromer Park for the 2008 NSW Premier League season having gained invaluable experience at A-League level during the long off-season.

Striker Robbie Cattanach, defenders Beau Busch and Roberto Hamad and midfielder Michael Lloyd-Green were all invited to join A-League clubs for training after starring for Manly United during the club?s stunning run to last season?s Tiger Turf Cup Final and league Preliminary Final.

Cattanach benefitted most, making his A-League debut for Sydney FC against Perth Glory while Busch was registered on a one-week contract by the Newcastle Jets to cover for injuries but was not required after all.
Hamad had a three-week spell with Central Coast Mariners followed by two weeks with Sydney FC while Lloyd-Green has enjoyed an extended spell of training with the Mariners.

All players reported fit for pre-season training at the grueling Palm Beach sand dunes on the Northern Beaches early last Sunday morning.
?The experience those four players gained from training ? and in Robbie?s case playing ? with A-League clubs will be great for their development,? Manly United coach Phil Moss said.

?It?s a ridiculously long off-season for us so it was important the players kept active and to go to the next level and get a taste of what?s required can only hold them in good stead for the future. I want them to bring that intensity that comes with full-time football back to the training paddock with Manly United.?
