Newly promoted NSW Premier League side West Sydney Berries are leaving no stone unturned in making sure their return to the competition in 2008 is a successful one.

The entire playing squad (including its U/20’s) are booked into the Sydney Academy of Sport & Recreation Centre for a 3-day intensive program between the 7th-9th December 2007.

Berries Chief Executive Laki Konistis was upbeat about the foundation club’s return to the Premier League in 2008.

"Having been in the Premier League before when the competition was first innaugurated, the club is aware where we have to be come kickoff in 2008. Which is why the club is ensuring it’s doing its utmost towards ensuring that next year will be a successful year for us.

"We do not want to be just making up the numbers".

One of the many highlights of the live-in camp will be a special motivational talk by former Socceroo captain Paul Wade to the Berries squad.
