Marconi Snap up Tallan Martin
The 24-year-old, who was Bankstown City?s top scorer last season with 11 goals, has once again linked up with his former school and football teacher David Barrett at the Stallions.
?I am really excited in linking up with ?DB? for the new season. He?s a great guy and knows his football.
?I will be putting in 100% also in getting positive results for the club and hopefully scoring a fair few goals along the way.?
Martin was happy with his time at Bankstown but felt as though he needed a different challenge in his footballing career.
?I had a great time with Bankstown and made many friends there and respected everyone that was there especially ‘Tseka’ (Peter Tsekenis).
?But I needed another challenge and the Stallions offered me that and I am hoping that I can give my all in playing a role in getting us that elusive championship.?
The Stallions will have a number of star studded attackers in their line-up as playing alongside Martin will be two-time Golden Boot Award winner Tolgay Ozbey who is currently recovering from minor knee surgery, young gun Stefan Donevski and former Australian Youth International Jay Lucas.
