Brian Dene appointed new PCYC Parramatta Technical Director

Brian has brought a wealth of playing and coaching expertise to the club and will be building upon the strong foundation laid over the past year.
Brian until recently was the Assistant Coach (Men?s Football Program) at the New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS) for the past 4 years.
In those years Brian worked closely with Kelly Cross, current Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Coach Education Manager, as well as former National team players Jean-Paul DeMarigny and Brad Maloney.
Brian holds a current FFA Asian Football Confederation (AFC) National Coaching Licence which is the highest level attainable in Australia and Asia, as well as being a FFA Youth Licence Instructor. 
In 2001 Brian completed a Dutch Football Association (KNVB) International Coaching Course at their impressive headquarters in Zeist.
In 2007 Brian completed a Bachelor of Sports Studies, majoring in Coaching degree and a Bachelor of Physical Health Education degree at the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE).
Brian?s main focus for PCYC Parramatta will be:
?         Improving player?s technical and tactical skills.
?         Coach Education for staff.
?         Networking opportunities for players and coaching staff at local, national and international level.
?         Implementation of a professional and consistent coaching program.
?         Specialised positional training for strikers, midfielders and defenders.
?         Supervision and assessment of coaches and players.
?         Identification and management of talented players especially focusing on the 8 ? 12 age groups.
