Berries join Bankstown Recreation Expo 2008
Local 1st Grade players Dimitri Zakilas and John Tsironis were a big hit with the kids at the Expo, signing autographs and handing out countless Season Passes to those present at the Bankstown Recreation Expo.
A local initiative promoted by Bankstown Council, the day was jam-packed with activities and entertainment for the whole family including a skating competition, healthy food and sports demonstrations, free children’s rides, good food and plenty more- including healthy eating information, body composition tests, a physiotherapist and fitness classes, and everything you need to know about living a healthy lifestyle.
The Recreation Expo was held at Carysfiled Park (Bass Hill) and was FREE of charge and open to people of all ages.
The Berries were on hand to sign autographs, hand out Season Passes as well as talk about and promote their sport within their local community.
A Skateboarding Competition (with some great prizes) was also a highlight on the day and pro-riders were also present showing off their skills as well.
