Spirit FC went top of the ladder on goal difference with a 5-1 away demolition of Blacktown Spartans. In the first half, Delaney?s effort for the Spartans in the 16^th minute was sandwiched by two goals from Tim Simpson in the 4^th and 22^nd minutes. Pankopou, Peatey and Cao completed the rout for the visitors with goals in the second period.
Sydney Wanderers made it two losses from two games with a 0-1 reverse at home vs Stanmore Hawks, James netting the only goal of the game on 28 minutes.
Hills Brumbies knocked over Dulwich Hill 1-0 at Arlington Oval with a 65^th minute goal from Bajic, whilst Mounties defeated UNSW 2-0 with strikes by Baldock in the 55^th minute and Ljuboja in the 85^th minute.
Inter Lions made it two wins from two with a valuable 1-0 away victory vs Hurstville City Minotaurs, Vizzari grabbing the all important winner on 47 minutes.
Finally, on Sunday afternoon,  Schofield Scorpions stole the points with a 3-1 away victory against Hurstville ZSC at Hajduk Stadium, courtesy of a brilliant 26 minute hatrick by Eddy, taking him to the top of the scorer?s list with 5 goals in two games.
