Grassroots coaching with Frank Farina a hit in 2008
The Tip Top Coaching Clinics, which ran for the second year, featured Frank Farina, kicked off in the first week of April with Northern NSW football in Newcastle that had over 90 eager participants.
Participants were eager to remind Frank of his last visit to Newcastle, making this the perfect icebreaker for what was a very enthusiastic and high energy clinic.
This year attendees benefited from a more improved and focused program which left no aspect of coaching unturned.
After Newcastle, Frank headed south for two nights at Valentine Park in Sydney.
We welcomed over 100 coaches who all shared an equal level of enthusiasm and were keen to participate in the drills plus receiving advice from Frank on any coaching questions at the end of the night.
Wagga was next, who were poised to welcome Frank with a good turn out at the Country Comfort and for drills on Bolton Park, which saw a strong contingent of over 40 attendees, as seen the next day in the Wagga Daily Advertiser.
On Friday, the Tip Top Coaching Clinics headed for the final call at Capital Football in Canberra at the AIS who turned out over 80 attendees, by far exceeding expectations.
Overall, the Tip Top Coaching Clinics were a great success and Frank Farina was well received.
The feedback has been extremely positive from eager and enthusiastic coaches of grassroots football around NSW who were equally impressed with Frank Farina?s guidance and tips.
