TeleChoice Premier League clubs ready for Tiger Turf Cup challenge

Mother nature has played a toll in three Round 2 Tiger Turf Cup clashes as Stanmore Hawks v Hurstville City ZSC, Dulwich Hill v Hurstville City Minotaurs and Mounties SC v Sydney University have yet to play due to the poor weather Sydney has experienced in the past week.
Nevertheless the official draw was made for round 3 as Football NSW Executive Manager, Commercial Services Tony Peters along with Client Services Manager, Competitions George Pashalis drew out the remaining 34 clubs involved in the Tiger Turf Cup.
There were of course some mouthwatering match-ups as Super League giants Bonnyrigg White Eagles drew TeleChoice Premier League outfit Penrith Nepean United.
Current TeleChoice Premier League high flyers Manly United are set to tackle fellow rivals the West Sydney Berries while Bankstown City face off the Macarthur Rams.
The two representatives from the Illawarra Premier League also made it through from round 2 as last season?s Tiger Turf Cup high flyers Dandaloo drew Super League outfit Mt Druitt Town Rangers while 2007 Illawarra Premier League Champions Albion Park White Eagles won a battle against 2007 TeleChoice Champions and Premiers Blacktown City Demons.
Division One side Inter Lions will face a stiff test when they take on Milan Blagojevic?s Sydney Olympic while last year?s Tiger Turf Cup winners Wollongong FC tackle Lee Sterrey?s Super League outfit Granville Rage in what promises to be an exciting encounter between the two.
John Romeo?s APIA Leichhardt Tigers have drawn the injury stricken PCYC Parramatta Eagles while Sydney United are set to face a familiar rival in the Sydney Wanderers in what officials hope will bring out a decent crowd.
It?s been a fairytale run for Northern Conference outfit Hawkesbury City who could continue their form towards the later stages of the Cup when they entertain Spirit FC side.
Both the Marconi Stallions and Sutherland Sharks will learn their fate with their opponents very soon as they await the washout clashes set to kick-off in the coming week.
