For one of the better performers in the TeleChoice Premier League it is hard to fathom how he never really made the transition either to the old National Soccer League or the new A-League.
Joseski is talented, reliable and modest. And like others he is somewhat disappointed with his club?s performances so far this season.
?To tell you the truth, I am not really happy with the season so far because results haven?t gone our way,? he said
?We are playing ok, but we are leaking goals and obviously not scoring.?
Bankstown City has been one of the most successful clubs in the TeleChoice Premier League in recent seasons and therefore it is not unreasonable for the team to expect to be competitive.
?We?d just like to be competitive like we have been for the last five or six years,? Joseski said.
?To see our position now on the ladder is a bit hard to comprehend, but we?ll definitely get out of it as a team.?
Joseski this year celebrates ten seasons at Bankstown City of which the last eight have been consecutive.
He is a Sydney United junior having played there from the under 13s and then debuted at Bankstown initially as a 16 year old in the colts in 1993.
Shortly afterwards Joseski?s career was at the crossroads when a serious injury put him out of the game for two years.
Those dark days are well and truly behind him. Joseski today works as a Solutions Consultant for a telephone systems company and is grateful to be playing again at Bankstown City.
?Bankstown gave me the chance to come back after the injury and I?m very happy about that because it has been a successful return to the game I love.?
