Premier Youth League Round 14 Review
No-one is yet assured of a place in the finals and some of those currently outside the top grouping still have plenty of chances to make the grade.
Grade 13
Sutherland Sharks maintained their one point lead at the top of the table with a 3-2 victory over Manly United who have dropped back a place to be fourth while Marconi Stallions continued to apply pressure from second spot with a closer than anticipated 1-0 result over Sydney Olympic who have fallen back two places to twelfth.
Blacktown City Demons moved up one place to third thanks to their 2-2 draw with sixth placed Macarthur Rams and their 2-0 win over Sydney United in Round 12 catch-up action played midweek. United have remained at fifth after they lost 1-0 to Bankstown City who have rocketed from last to ninth.
A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers are still seventh following their 1-1 draw with Wollongong FC who moved up a place to tenth while West Sydney Berries remained at eighth after they posted a 3-1 win over Penrith Nepean United who tumbled from ninth to eleventh.
Grade 14

Blacktown City Demons graduated from fourth to third after they were 1-0 winners over tenth placed Macarthur Rams and the Demons added another three points with a 2-0 victory over Sydney United in a Round 12 catch-up match.
Marconi Stallions dropped from first to third when they suffered a 3-0 loss to Sydney Olympic who jumped from seventh to sixth while Sydney United remained at fifth following their 4-1 result over last placed Bankstown City who had lost 2-1 to the ninth placed NSWIS Girls in midweek action.
Penrith Nepean United held onto fourth position with a 4-2 win over West Sydney Berries who fell back two places to eighth and A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers moved up one spot to seventh after they were 2-0 victors over twelfth placed Wollongong FC.
Grade 15
Blacktown City Demons jumped two places to take over the competition lead with a 3-0 win over Macarthur Rams who dropped back one place to eighth and a 1-0 result in Round 12 catch-up action against Sydney United in midweek. A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers fell back to second after they had a 1-0 win over Wollongong FC who went from second to third.

Manly United still have a lead of three points at the top of the table following their 1-1 draw with Sutherland Sharks who fell back two places to tenth while A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers missed the opportunity to take over at the top when they were held to a 1-1 draw by sixth placed Wollongong FC.
Sydney United jumped up two places to third after they were beaten 2-1 by Bankstown City who moved upward two spots to eighth but United had beaten Blacktown City Demons 4-0 in a Round 12 catch-up match. Marconi Stallions dropped from third to fourth when they surprisingly lost 2-0 to Sydney Olympic who have graduated from eleventh to ninth.
Blacktown City Demons fell back one place to fifth after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Macarthur Rams who went from ninth to eleventh and Penrith Nepean United remained at seventh following their 2-1 win over last placed West Sydney Berries.
Grade 18
Marconi Stallions have a lead of a single point at the top of the table after they produced a 2-0 win over fifth placed Sydney Olympic while second placed Blacktown City Demons missed the chance to take over the top spot when they were 2-0 winners over Macarthur Rams who dropped back three places to tenth but the Demons lost their Round 12 midweek catch-up match with Sydney United 1-0.
Penrith Nepean United remained at third after they were held to a 1-1 draw by eleventh placed West Sydney Berries and A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers are still fourth following their 3-2 loss to sixth placed Wollongong FC.
Sydney United jumped from ninth to seventh with the points from their win in the catch-up game and their scoreless draw with eighth placed Bankstown City and Manly United moved up one place to ninth with a very solid 5-0 result over last placed Sutherland Sharks.
