TeleChoice Premier League Grand-Final to be held at CUA Stadium


The selection of CUA Stadium capitalises on the successful growth of football in Western Sydney, following a significant increase of registered playing figures over recent years.
Nepean districts and the surrounding associations comprise almost 20,000 of NSW?s football participants.
2007 was hailed as a great success for the TeleChoice Premier League Grand Final between the Blacktown City Demons and Bankstown City Lions as six thousand plus fans turned up and witnessed the spectacle.
Football NSW CEO Michael Quarmby believes CUA was the obvious choice of venue for the 2008 TeleChoice Premier League Grand Final.
??The Western Suburbs have a lot to offer football as the area has shown a substantial increase in participation over the years and I believe taking the Telechoice Premier League Grand Final to CUA will only help to encourage this growth.

Home to TeleChoice Premier League side Penrith Nepean United and NRL team the Penrith Panthers, this multi-purpose arena has a maximum capacity of 21,000, featuring two grand stands, two terraces and two hills for spectators. The ground also boasts one of Australia?s finest irrigation systems.
The 2008 TeleChoice Premier League Grand Final will be held on Sunday the 7th of September 2008, at CUA Stadium, kick off at 3pm.
