Seven players shared the goals for the home side at Seymour Shaw, with Byrne leading the way with a hat-trick.
McPherson and McDonald both grabbed a brace, with single strikes from Karim, Rosman, Cook and Russell rounding off the emphatic victory for Lilli Pilli.
The match of the round at E.S.Marks Field produced a stunning victory for Hakoah, beating the league leaders, Camden Tigers, by 1-0. Pozniak did the damage for the home side, scoring the winner after just 15 minutes, blowing the title race wide open as Hakoah move onto 19 points, third behind White City (21 points) and Camden Tigers (22 points).
At Cherrybrook Park, Gazy Lansvale climbed above Sydney Cedars by beating them 2-1.
Lima put Gazy in front on 23 minutes, before Benegadi equalised for the Cedars with a 50th minute penalty.
Burnic grabbed the winner for Gazy on 67 minutes to put his side on 5th on the ladder on 14 points, with  as many as three games in hand on some teams.
A remarkable individual performance highlighted an astonishing match at Norford Park, with Colo Colo Wanderers thrashing bottom club Greenisland SFC 10-3.
Wanderers striker Navarrete scored an amazing 8 (eight) goals in a virtuoso display, with four goals in each half.
Navarrete?s first two goals came after just 6 minutes, and he grabbed his hatrick in the 33rd minute, before closing off the first half with goal number four on 42 minutes. Olivares scored the first of his two goals after 9 minutes, which in total gave the Wanderers a 5-0 lead at the break.
Ozekin gave Greenisland something to cheer about when he pulled a goal back in the 51st minute, however Navarrete (54?) and Olivares (57?), with his second, made it 7-1 to the home side.
Navarrete then showed no mercy to the opposition with three more goals (63? ,64?, 84?), before Elveren and Licanin added a little respectability to the scoreline with two late strikes for Greenisland.
White City had the weekend off via the bye, enjoying the rest ahead of next week?s big clash against third placed Hakoah at Calabria Sports Ground, on Sunday at 3-00pm.
