Red Card Cancer Gala Ball 2008
The annual fund raising event is where football referees get together to give cancer the red card and allows the business and sporting community to also assist with the fight against cancer.
Funds raised on the night will be used for the very popular Italian Exchange Program, a vital element of football referee devolvement and for the much needed cancer research in this country, this year the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia is the beneficiary.
At present more than 18,700 men and their families feel the impact of diagnosis of prostate cancer and close to 3000 men each year will lose their lives to prostate cancer in Australia.
By assisting this event, you will make an invaluable contribution towards solving some of the greatest puzzles of our time. What causes prostate cancer? How can we improve treatments? What is the best cure?
Past ?Red Card to Cancer Gala Ball?s? have been held in the Inner City, however due to the growing popularity and successes of this well known fund raiser has led the Australian Italian Football & Referees Exchange Association (AIFREA) to bring it to the west.
To add to the Italian flavour the night will be held at club Marconi, Bossley Park on Saturday the 27th September 2008.
Hyundai Motor Company Australia in their fourth year of support will contribute to the cause by giving away another car on the night, this year it?s the very popular i30, ?carsguide? 2007 car of the year. This fantastic car will be drawn on the night among many lucky door prizes and other great prizes such as two return airline tickets to Italy.
Celebrities and special guests will again attend this Red Card to Cancer Gala Ball and along with AIFREA welcomes you to support the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
Individual tickets are $150.00 and corporate table of ten are available at $2,000.00. All tickets include a complimentary entry in the i30 giveaway. Proceeds from dinner and i30 raffle tickets go towards the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
