A blistering opening half hour produced three goals for the Wanderers, Mansueto (17th) and Booke (28th) adding to an own goal after nine minutes.
Noro pulled one back for Mounties right on half time, but Booke grabbed his second  for the Wanderers in the 57th minute to restore their three goal margin.
Noro?s second goal in the 89th minute was too little, too late as the Wanderers held on for a deserved victory.
If it was goals you wanted to see, there were plenty Saturday night at Arlington Oval as Dulwich Hill beat Hurstville City Minotaurs 8-3.
Ex- NSL stars Bove and Tome got amongst the goals in the first half, with Burrows and James also getting on the scoresheet for Dully as they lead 4-1 at the break. Dimento got the Minotaurs sole goal in the first period on 34 minutes.
Paradisis made it 5-1 to the home side with a goal on 49 minutes, before Mertzanakis gave Hurstville fans something to cheer about with his strike just four minutes later.
A frenzied finale provided no less than four goals in as many minutes, with James (87th) and Paradisis (89th) securing their braces, whilst Dully?s Gabey and Hurstville?s Morhi (86th) finished off their team?s scoring for the day.
The win puts Dulwich Hill into 5th position on the ladder on 22 points.
The big result in Sunday?s matches was at CSI Sports Ground where Schofield Scorpions toppled league leaders Spirit FC 4-3.
Anthony Ucchino was the chief destroyer for the Scorpions, completing a remarkable hatrick of penalties in the 8th, 60th , and 61st minutes. Ucchino wasn?t finished as he also grabbed his, and his side?s, fourth goal on 72 minutes. The league leaders typically did not give up fighting, and their three goals were scored by Littlebury (21st ), Griffin (76th ) and Papanicolaou in the final minute.
Inter Lions took maximum advantage of the Spirit?s slip up, beating Blacktown Spartans comfortably at Francis Park by 3-0. Storey gave the Lions the lead on 26 minutes, before Fragassi made it two just before the break. Puglisi put the game out of Blacktown?s reach with his goal in the 71st minute. The win puts Inter Lions on 34 points, and with a game in hand on Spirit, who are leading the way on 38 points.
Stanmore Hawks coach Nick Orlic would?ve been disappointed with his side?s 1-1 home draw against Hills Brumbies. And they did it tough by coming from behind, with Brown putting Hills in front on 24 minutes, before the league?s top marksman, Chavez, rescued the Hawks with his equalizer in the 54th  minute. The point keeps Stanmore in third position on the ladder on 24 points.
In the final match of the round, Hurstville ZFC grabbed their third win of the season by beating UNSW 2-1 at Hurstville Oval.
Tayebi and Terkes did the damage for the home side, whilst Groth scored UNSW?s only goal of the match.
