‘Cure Our Kids’ Charity raise $1500 at Champion of Champions

As a result of the initiative of Chief Executive Officer, Mr Michael Quarmby, it was decided to select a local charity who could benefit from this day and Cure Our Kids was selected by the CEO as the Charity of the Day and were invited to attend Valentine Sports Park where volunteers from Cure Our Kids, under the guidance of Katrina Ortolin, Event Manager from Cure Our Kids, conducted a raffle during the day for prizes donated by Sydney FC, Newcastle Jets and Central Coast Mariners. 
A stall was also conducted where Cure Our Kids items were sold and as a result of the raffle and the stall, Cure Our Kids was able to raise the amount $1500.00.
Katrina Ortolin was very pleased with this outcome and thanked Football NSW for the opportunity to raise much needed funds for their organization?s sole purpose of supporting the kids and families of the Cancer Unit at the Children?s Hospital at Westmead.

Michael Quarmby has agreed that the selection of a charity to benefit from the large crowds assembled on Champion of Champions finals day will become an annual opportunity for a locally based charity to raise much needed funds.
